Born in The Bronx and raised in Miami, Angelina Bastidas loved to cook at an early age. A graduate of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, she honed her skills in a number of Miami’s top dining destinations, including Wish, The Bazaar by José Andrés, Palme d’Or, and Tongue & Cheek. In 2014, she was selected as one of Zagat Miami’s 30 under 30 Rock Stars Redefining the Industry.
In 2015, Angelina competed on season 13 of Top Chef and at 24, was their youngest chef to compete. This sparked her move to Chicago in 2016 where she continues her culinary career providing whimsical, sophisticated, and innovative cuisine.
Bastidas has also competed on season 3 of Bong Appetit in 2019 and the U.S Barilla Pasta World Competition in Pebble Beach. Throughout the years, Angelina has done consultation and R&D work for restaurants in the Northeast, Midwest and West Coast. She currently focuses on her creativity for her clients at the dinner table
